Editing Command Line Alias

Looking at the output of alias I see that ls includes -al to view all files and directories. I can't find where to edit the alias. i prefer not to include hidden files and directories with ls by default. I've checked the .bashrc and /etc/bash.bahrc but don't see the alias entry. Where can I make the changes to edit my alias?

Thank You!

For fish, standard case:

Thank You!
