Original post should also include pamac -S xdotool or Nothing will happen even if every other thing is setup without error
What version are you running that does not include xdotool or wtype by default?

I've edited the guide to include xdotool.
Although KDE Lite is not a "supported" edition having an implicit requirement in a guide isn't great for future readers if/when the default software changes.
