Hello Garuda users
I use garuda on my laptop on a dualboot config since 3 month now and mostly enjoying it as much as i don't use windows anymore except for gaming. My laptop have and hybrid graphic card , amd integrated and nvidia dedicated (more info with the output of inxi below). The big issue come as i can't dual screen, as when i plug the 2nd monitor , it get connected but prompt "no display". I still have the possibility to switch the display mode (unify and extend right don't do nothing, extend left make my laptop screen glitch). My friend who also use the same garuda distro (dragonized) have no issue for this monitor and the only difference stand in him not having hybrid graphics.
I never needed the graphic card on garuda , but still can use "prime-run" for activate it.
Notable fact is that the graphic card continously draw ~10-11 W even not use

Did you try
sudo nvidia-settings
?
Drag around the visible Monitor on settings screen, maybe the second monitor is behind.
Save your changes.

As for the settings screen, i'm able to "enable" the 2nd monitor but it still don't receive any signal no matter what i change in the menu (position resolution and so on).
Thanks for the help

Have you tried switching to discrete graphics in the UEFI?
Just as a test, I can imagine (I never had hybrid graphics) this could be not ideal, but maybe it will work well...
Edit: give a look also at this Arch forum post. Seems to confirm my idea, but there is also a solution in switchable mode
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=269604
Which I see it is just equivalent to use Nvidia only, anyway...:

Thanks i try it , worked fine once , but on 2nd reboot impossible to log in (no more screen at the splashscreen loading).
Type your password, enter, maybe it work. Or remove the 2nd monitor.

Yeah i tried, even starting without 2nd monitor, but still blackscreen. For solve this i started in recov mode and undo the 2 files modification.

did that work, or do you still have the blackscreen issue now?
if yes: try to usw SUPER(WIN)+P and push on "right arrow" once, and enter. Maybe this could bring it back.
For the other stuff, I also use SUPER + P to select the output device.
I also set it back to the second option (Laptop Screen only) before I disconnect a second screen. this worked for me with a bunch of external displays.
Hope that may help.
