Dolphin doesn't show icon for .ISO files anymore and doesn't let me mount via context menu

Hey Guys,

i just realized that i can’t mount .ISO files anymore via dolphin context menu. I made sure i have dolphin-plugins, kio-extra and kio-fuse installed. I found some bug report over on archlinux.org about this that points to a KDE bugreport where a patch is attached.

However i have no idea how i could implement this patch and if it even should be needed or if it’s fixed already and my system just needs some reminder about it

Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks!

Alright

Dolphin all the way, played around with thunar a while ago but dolphin is so much better for me^^

Marked solution or not Thunar is not the answer. It and Nemo are great for when one must have full root access to the file system without having to jump through hoops to get it, but Dolphin is far far superior in features.

It’s a temporary solution, what good is the best software if it doesn’t work properly.
