Does not let me sign into desktop environment

Another case of user intervention that borked their system, (that Garuda generally gets blamed for). You are the system administrator on your system. Linux only does what you allow it to do.

Unix was not designed to stop you from doing stupid things, because that would also stop you from doing clever things.

You must always check which dependencies are listed for removal before confirming the uninstall action.

Some lessons just have to be learned the hard way.

I know, I already do check the dependencies which are set to uninstall. I have no idea how/why it would remove all the dependencies for the desktop environment... seems random and I still don't know how octopi would seemingly arbitrarily remove all of the packages related to desktop environment. The packages were never set for removal in the "Actions" tab of Octopi...
