Discord update

Hi again,

Since about a day or two there seems to be an update for Discord. I’ve installed Discord with Octopi (if I remember correctly) and when I launch it now it says there’s an update and offers to download a .deb file or a tar.gz but I can’t launch it anymore. When I look in Octopi the latest version, 0.66 apparently, isn’t available there. Also with pacman it shows the current version, 0.65. How could I install the latest version (I’m used to Discord updating itself automatically), or does it takes a little while before the repository gets updated?

Thanks in advance.

Use only pacman and don’t install Deb files  for Ubuntu or use downloads from websites.

Retry with pacman after you system is fully updated with garuda-update
Or

garuda-update discord

it is an all time problem of discord, there is no solution of it other than updating it ,

You can either just update discord and leave the rest of the things for later by this command :

sudo pacman -Sy discord

or it will be better to update the whole system , so that nothing breaks

upd -a

or just directly use the web version, which I prefer nowadays
