As the title states, After I turn off the PC and turn it back on, My Desktop's wallpaper is black, and I have to always set the image back to what it was prior. Would anyone know the reason for this?

Has it always been like this?
After an update?
If I had more time I would ask more questions.
Maybe you can think of something, so long?

After I performed Garuda-update in the console because the desktop wasn't responding to anything before, it was just a black screen with none of the taskbars. garuda-update did fix it, but now my wallpaper resets to black after the PC turns off.

Restore with garuda-assistant.

It could be that there is a problem related to plasma-workspace, just yesterday I was troubleshooting the inactive blur.
What wallpaper plugin do you use, just plain image, or something from the kde store?

I read this title generalized as : computer is off - my wallpaper is black ..

Since the dawn of time, generally after I shutdown my computer , I never got a really broad option either, just a "no input" tag in the right bottom section of the screen...

There, I changed it to something a bit more sane. In future, please don't resurrect old topics. If you don't have the ability to change the topic header, then please ask a Moderator to do so.
