Davinci Resolve hidpi monitor starting

This is a tutorial to make DaVinci Resolve start in hidpi mode so text is readable size on a 28" 4K monitor for example using Garuda Gnome

open terminal

cd /usr/share/applications
cp com.blackmagicdesign.resolve.desktop com.blackmagicdesign.resolve.desktopbackup
nano com.blackmagicdesign.resolve.desktop

This will make copy of original config file and now you can edit the config file

Change file from

[Desktop Entry]
Version=1.0
Type=Application
Name=DaVinci Resolve
GenericName=DaVinci Resolve
Comment=Revolutionary new tools for editing, visual effects, color correction and professional audio post pro>
Path=/opt/resolve/
Exec=/opt/resolve/bin/resolve %u
Terminal=false
MimeType=application/x-resolveproj;
Icon=/opt/resolve/graphics/DV_Resolve.png
StartupNotify=true
Name[en_US]=DaVinci Resolve
StartupWMClass=resolve

to the following by changing the Exec Line

[Desktop Entry]
Version=1.0
Type=Application
Name=DaVinci Resolve
GenericName=DaVinci Resolve
Comment=Revolutionary new tools for editing, visual effects, color correction and professional audio post pro>
Path=/opt/resolve/
Exec=env QT_DEVICE_PIXEL_RATIO=2 QT_AUTO_SCREEN_SCALE_FACTOR=true /opt/resolve/bin/resolve %u
Terminal=false
MimeType=application/x-resolveproj;
Icon=/opt/resolve/graphics/DV_Resolve.png
StartupNotify=true
Name[en_US]=DaVinci Resolve
StartupWMClass=resolve

This will change to hipdi mode when you launch DaVinici Resolve. Reason I made this tutorial is most methods work on Debian based systems, this one work for Garuda
