The PKGBUILD seems simple enough. PKGBUILD - aur.git - AUR Package Repositories

I’d start by reviewing this section.

i tried rewriting the build before it is actually harder than it looks (you need to a few weirdly specific url’s from the black magic page) also i had the issue with the manually installed version (with the official installer) so out of date can’t be the issue also the package is currently up to date again

Not as of THIS MINUTE!
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/davinci-resolve

i am confused what are you trying to say ?

I was listening to a podcast recently where they were explaining how packaging Davinci Resolve is a moving target (for all Linux distros), and the only reliably not broken version is the Flatpak. I don’t typically recommend using Flatpaks, and I don’t know how accurate their statement is (the person is a developer who packages a lot of applications for Debian), but it may be worth a look if you need this software.

A caveat they mentioned is the plugin support is way more limited on the Flatpak version; depending on what plugins you need to use, that may or may not be a relevant detail for you.

Here is some information about getting started with Flatpaks if you want to check it out: Flatpak - ArchWiki
