CPU governor with catchyos-bore

I’m trying different kernels, while for many seems irrelevant in terms of performances I’m noticing my desktop being A LOT more responsive with catchy-bore compared to any other kernel I tried (zen, lts, vanilla).
The problem comes with games: looks like the frequency of the cpu fluctuate only between 2,2 and 2,4 mhz, as consequence FPS are very low in every game.
I usually switch governor based on need with cpupower, the problem is that since I installed catchy it seems to ignore any request to change governor.

I’d like to fix this problems and keep this kernel due to the general performances but I accept suggestions on how to get more performances from other kernels.
With catchy the desktop feels as smooth as wayland, which I can’t use because… nvidia.

I just lost the emojis, but cachyos is definitely recommended. In my opinion.

What I really value is freedom of choice. And, of course, the exchange with each other. Thanks for that.

Well, I’ll update this in case someone has the same problem:

Looks like catchy with bore doesn’t do good with cpupower and similar software, removing cpupower fixed the problem, bore doesn’t really need any other “help” in managing the cpu.
