CPU Fan Noise when opening Firefox and browsing through websites

Hello!

I am new to this distro but finding it quite odd, that my CPU is going wild everytime i go and open a firefox tab enter a webadresse. Can it be something with the ram i am using or do i need to update my BIOS?

UPDATE: Especially when i go back and forth 2 web adresses its really making the cpu work fan noise raise , other simple programs startup also tends to fire up the CPU shortly and the afterwards settling down. I saw on another post that people also find firefox slow maybe this is the case as well?

Can you be specific about the noise? Is it electrical, coil whine, fan noise… ?

Hey Jonathon,

Thanks for replying.

I am using my Lenovo T450s with this distribution.

The noise is based primarily on the fan, when opening programs.
