I’m wanting to see if Owncast can work on distros like Garuda. Do most Linux applications work with all distros or do some of them work with specific ones like Arch based distros and all that?
There seems to be such package in the AUR repository

In general, when an application is not available in the Arch repo, it is most likely available in the aur.

The most direct way is to launch the live installer environment, try it, and see.
