Did you use system settings or what?

yes i used the KDE system settings...

Works

Why is there "Change Password"?

You log in with second user to make third user.
Second user has no su rights.

i'm logged into as John, yes there is a change password but it also does not save the new password, or to add new user.. now the one you posted works okay, but the main KDE does not.. if that helps

but yeah the KDE is super bugged out, i can't delete the user as well to test it, now before it worked up to the point where the new update took over.. It could be just me, so i will do a new reinstall soon..

okay update; so after doing a live ISO, the user in the KDE settings works just great.. Now the new fresh install of it still does not work; so after doing testing on the kde, i do think it's bugged out

I just update KDE, for Nvidia 510, and it did not work, but no error message.

yeah, i got no errors to lol, but when u want to change the password then it shows the error on the save, doing a debug to see why

Try to use the Garuda Settings Manager instead of the KDE thing. On mine it's the blue eagle in the middle here (I'm sure yours looks a little different than mine) inside the Garuda Welcome app:

yep that does work, good, but just letting the devs know about the issue off kde settings.. trying to debug so i can get the logs somehow.. but thank you for the short idea for my tray

You must post on KDE dev issues page

i know... a new post it will be soon hahaha.. i thought i would let ya know here first then let KDE know after.. thanks mate ur super!
