It would be great if there was some way (if there is, I haven't found it) to contribute to translating Garuda Linux.

Contribute translations in what capacity?
Some of the pages on the website that offer translation are just using the Google Translate API, if I am not mistaken--there isn't a community member translating all that stuff. Hopefully someone will chime in if there is more to the story than that.

This is pretty much correct, yes. The things that can be translated as of now would be the wiki, .desktops and applications via Qt iirc.
