Looks like the description wasn’t very accurate for optional deps. Probably install them all to be on the safe side.

Requesting a fork of Klassy be added to Chaotic-AUR as the one we have has not been maintained in 5 months, and an update for KDE broke it due to an upgrade in dependencies(kdecoration3).

The one we have now: GitHub - paulmcauley/klassy: Klassy is a highly customizable binary Window Decoration, Application Style and Global Theme plugin for recent versions of the KDE Plasma desktop.

Requested and fixed fork: GitHub - Foxinatel/klassy: Klassy is a highly customizable binary Window Decoration, Application Style and Global Theme plugin for recent versions of the KDE Plasma desktop.

This is the PR that fixed the issue:

This is already provided by Chaotic-AUR:

As you can see in the sources section, it uses plasma6.3.patch already. So there isn’t anything to switch to, since that PR is already included.

‘fish-autopair’ was removed from Chaotic-AUR, however it is still a dependency of ‘Garuda-mokka.’ In fact, it tries to pull in ‘fish-autopair’ from regular AUR as a result, and then wants you to trust the source, probably not the best option.

No, it’s a dep of garuda-fish-config. Which is a dep of garuda-mokka.

That is it! Maybe Chaotic-AUR should continue to host ‘fish-autopair’? At least it would be a trusted source (my two cents.)

I don’t know but we are looking into it.

no prob with

git clone https://invent.kde.org/davidedmundson/plasma-login-manager.git
  • it is possible to insert plasma-login.git ? If yes = thx no= no prob :innocent:

In order to build AUR packages, you must install the prerequisite metapackage:

sudo pacman -Syu base-devel

This will give you strip, which you are currently missing, as well as many other packages that are crucial for building. You can see more detail about the process here, or just run the above command and try again

Just a heads up, you might want to update your Freetube version. It stopped playing videos, so I used a version from AUR that was newer, and now the videos play.

LOL I just went through looking for anything using electron and replaced freetube with a version that doesn’t use it.

Did you select the Freetube-bin version from AUR? If so, it does use it, but it is built into the compile, I believe.

Well shoot didn’t seem bloated when I installed it.

It’s currently flagged out of date, as soon as the maintainer updates it will rebuild:

This is exactly correct
