Hi, I wanted to change the prompt in fish but changing it in the fish_config does nothing (not command, after selecting and applying the shell stays de the same even after restarting my computer).

where you making/edit change ? make sure you edit/change "~/.config/fish/config.fish", if you make change/edit outside you have to import that file in config.fish.

The prompt is manually set in config.fish. I dont think it works with fish_config 
The file is commented so you might want to try removing the prompt part and trying again.
