Can't select app with multiple instances in dock after update

Hi all, I just come back from a week long holiday with family and one of the first things I did when I got back onto my computer is run a system update. Ever since then I've not been able to open something in my dock that has multiple instances running in the way it's usually meant to; zooming out, blurs the background and displays all instances on screen for me to select - but now left clicking an app does nothing. This happens if I have several windows of my file browser open or if I have multiple images open in Gwenview for example, it affects all apps I have.

From what I understand the latest version of Plasma released very buggy as I too experienced the black wallpaper and login issue that others have mentioned recently but those were very easy to fix for me, I however couldn't see anyone mentioning having the issue I'm having and I'm not quite sure how to figure this odd problem out so any help would be appreciated.

I'm under the impression that this was fixed in newer commits as I'm able to select them using the overview effect on latte-dock-git  Which means the next release will contain the fix

That's great to hear! Glad it was not specific to my setup and something that was caught very quickly, I'll await the fix and if it works or if I still have issues after the next update I'll post about it here :+1:

Hi, how did you fix the blur effect on the wallpaper?

This thread is not about the blur effect.
This one is KDE 5.25 and Inactive Blur Feature in Garuda's Dr460nized/Gaming Ed Issue - #5 by dr460nf1r3

And I don't know if this is a bug, but when I try to drag with the mouse an icon from place to another in the Dock it gets a pink box over it and I cannot left click anymore. And if I reset, the icons are back working, but on the original places, and not the newer places I had moved them.

Yes, sorry, it's that no solution is there yet, and he said he had solved it.

I don't see anything here that says the "blur effect" specifically has been fixed.
Which is what the other thread is for, to follow-up the issue opened on github.

EDIT: However if you experience these 2 issues

, try updating to latte-dock-git, which will also fix other issues at the same time.

The "easy fix" wasn't about the "black wallpaper"?

Please let's not mix topics and cross-post.
Let's use the other thread, if necessary, for the inactive blur.
An easy "fix" (to avoid the black screen) is just to avoid using that plug-in, see:

This is also a bug I've been dealing with and is quite annoying but mentioning it here is off-topic. But I strongly recommend opening a thread about this, that way it gets more attention

I'm still having the same issue. The updates I processed today didn't help unfortunately. Are you still experiencing this issue?
