Can't play videos : mpv and browsers after update

Hi guys, I'm currently running the Gaming edition with kde.
For about a week now if I update the system I can't play any video either with mpv, kodi or any browser.
I'm currently running the 5.14.13-zen1-1-zen.

I tried :

  • restoring from a snapshot, which allows me to get back to a usable system but still can't update.
  • reinstalling all the packages after cleaning each and every cache I could think of.

So any idea's welcome.

Welcome :slight_smile:

Did you search the forum?
Kernel 5.14.13 is old. Update your system first.
If errors, search in forum for pipewire / alsa.

Also, you do not post you inxi -Faz.

That’s what led to the trouble, if I read the op correctly.

@maeglin try

sudo pacman -Syu linux-lts

And see if audio works when booting into that one.
