Cant install software or update,because it doesnt ask for authentification

hi everyone....i just installed Garuda KDE, and when i try to install any program or app, when i press the button "apply" it goes on but it doesnt show the dialog to write my password ,so then it says "failed authentification" so it wont install anything...and theres nothing i can do.....it even do that when i check for any update through the same place......any help will be appreciated.....i tried with something i read on this forum using the terminal, but id didnt work either,......any option will be gratefull....

Please see this thread. My roommates Garuda has the same issue, but we chose to just leave it and see if it pops up again.

Authentication failed

Hello, normally I use Manjaro, but I also like to test other distributions. That's how I ended up on Garuda XFCE. However, I noticed a problem right away: via pacman/yay I can easily install software. So the administrator password obviously works. However, if I select "Add Software" option in the Start menu (i.e. via the GUI) programs, I get the "Authentification failed" message. The root password is not requested.
