Hello, i did a garuda update system, and its crashs, when i go back to a snapshot and try:
timeshift --restore command, is shows this message
E: Commands listed below are not available on this system:

  • rsync
  • /sbin/blkid
  • df
  • mount
  • umount
  • fuser
  • crontab
  • cp
  • rm
  • touch
  • ln
  • sync

Please install required packages and try running TimeShift again

** (process:40346): CRITICAL **: 22:49:34.537: app_lock_remove: assertion 'self != NULL' failed

I search a i lot, but i cannot find the solution:
Cron service is ok, and all the packages are updated

systemctl status cronie.service
● cronie.service - Periodic Command Scheduler
Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/cronie.service; enabled; vendor preset: disabled)
Active: active (running) since Mon 2022-03-07 22:29:44 -03; 22min ago

Its works using sudo -E timeshift-gtk

Welcome

Where did you find timeshift-gtk?

Why don't you use the snapshot from grub?

In what way was there a crash during the update?

Could you please post your garuda-inxi after the fact?
Because Garuda has not been using timeshift for a while but snapper.
