Imma reinstall Garuda again and hope grub installs it self into windows boot partition (430ish MB)
In my case I use Grub to load both windows 7 and Garuda Linux
My example
- I make a partition before installation
While installing I selected custom and replace the newly created partition - I installed Grub directly to the MBR
U may use osprober to boot into existing windows or simply a grub menu entry for windows bootloader

Correct! Grub has its own tool for this.
But how? What command?
In any case, you have to
- confirm in what boot mode you started the system (UEFI or BIOS/Legacy)
- know in what mode the installed Garuda is
- install grub in the proper mode (it’s a different command)
There are many known cases with bad UEFI firmware, where grub installation fails, or is reverted by UEFI. But there are several workarounds. ALL of them are described in Archwiki.
If you read all grub and UEFI Arch wiki articles, you will find a solution. Unless the HW is just not capable for Linux.
Hello, I am back again to report that I fixed my issue with dualboot
As it turns out BluishHumility was right, the windows boot partition was just to small(99MB), so I increased(443MB),the bootloader finally installed and dualboot finally works no problem
Thanks for the help, much appreciated
We always mark here the solution and not the implementation.
I fix it.
