I recently updated my machine and I cant really get any sound coming out of my earbuds or generally Bluetooth audio devices its kind of hit and miss really sometimes it might work with choppy sound or sometimes it might go to the extend of powering off my bluetooth speakers/ earbuds.

From my research ive heard the problem is related to jamesdsp and pulse audio and so I uninstalled and installed it but to no avail. I also get that its possible that there might be interference with the Bluetooth speakers but I can assure you that there is no interference.

Anyone please help

Hi there, welcome to the forum!

You should give a look at your pacman.log to see what could have had an impact on bluetooth.
If you got a kernel update, my first suggestion would be to try switching to the linux-lts kernel.
This is an example of kernel bluetooth bug which seems to be on and off across releases. Not necessarily your case. You should check the dmesg for that timeout.
