Black screen with mouse cursor after last update (Jan 30th)

Heyya everyone.
One more time, kudos for this nice distro, still my favourite so far.

So I am not sure if this is the reason, I did update yesterday, and had, on next reboot, a black screen with mouse pointer upon each next reboot.
I did try to boot from snapshot from last 3 days, same result.

I can boot live USB, and been able to chroot to mount my disk partition, however, I am not sure how to generate an update on this installed version to see if this update can fix the issue.
I am still learning on how this works.

Ok, possibly some disk usage?

garuda-update

after chroot.

At least search for black screen in forum.

Hi SGS, I did read most of black screen posts on the forum.
I did run garuda-update, which was successful. However, there is no change on the reboot result.

After new update, there were still many packages updated, and freeding up some space, it now seems that I am back in and logged.
I also get the hotfix message that I am now applying.
So far so good.

That will be written in the first post.
Post also the links.

And than

Where you update?
From chroot?

So,

is the solution.

We always mark here the solution and not the implementation.
