Garuda (2.6.16-1):
System install date: 2023-06-04
Last full system update: 2023-06-04
Is partially upgraded: No
Relevant software: snapper NetworkManager connman dracut
Windows dual boot: No/Undetected
Failed units:
Boot from live ISO grub with free driver, search in forum about dual GPU in Notebooks.
I've been waiting for 3 hours for it to boot. I had a movie to watch but now I realized that ain't right. I prepared the flash with balena etcher again and booted again if it matters. I also deleted the already installed Garuda while the USB was getting ready.
Last three lines are:
Starting Cleanup of Temporary Directories
[ Ok ] Finished Cleanup of Temporary Directories
[*** ] A start job is running for automatic driver installation via MHWD (be patient!) (39min 17s / no limit)
retry a clean install with Ventoy.net
What partition style should I choose? Its set to NTFS MBR default. I guess FAT32 and GPT?
I read and followed that in first place. It used garuda downloader which didn't work then as it doesn't now. Log file:
Info: "zsync2 version 2.0.0-alpha-1 (commit aa5d024), build <local dev build> built on 2021-03-25 10:51:00 UTC"
Info: "Could not resolve host: mirrors.fossho.st"
Info: "Reading and/or parsing .zsync file failed!"
Could it be something about my pc? Or even country (Turkey btw).
That's a known issue right now.
Nope. 1hours past with ventoy usb on open source drivers. Tried many configurations. Searched for my case with dual GPU's and lastly tried with Oracle virtual box which worked very well! I have no idea about why it worked directly from the iso but not with USB. I even ran far cry primal on virtual machine.
You said garuda installer problem I have is known. Is there an ETA for when it will be fixed? For now I will try with another USB.
No, the app programmer will fix it as soon as he can.
A troubleshooting was already initiated by a team member, but this unfortunately failed.
We ask for your patience.
Wait, I got to see Garuda opening acreen! Tho it's frozen. I was able to press esc fast enough to read some of the last actions. I saw something abou TCS, clock thing and "broken bios". Sadly I am unable to get back to that textual output. If I get lucy again I will edit this with proper information.
İnstead of gaming edition, I simply downloaded standart dragonized edition and instaleld stuff on it afterwards. Problem was with gaming edition as I learnt from my experiences.
