Background opacity too low

hey, i'm using garuda dragonized and i'm sick of semi transparent backgrounds with the blur, so i disabled it in the desktop effects setting, but i can't find a setting for the opacity, i can't read stuff anymore

i know i've had the problem on my old laptop too and somehow i could set it to a fixed color, but i can't find the setting anymore, maybe someone could help me find it

Turn off your compositor. That should do it for you, and your computer will run faster.

No mas problema.

The opacity setting is in Kvantum Manager

  • Configure Active Theme->Compositing & General Look->Reduce window opacity by, this will change all apps that are not in Opaque apps, and abide by the theming.
  • Configure Active Theme->Hacks->Transparent Dolphin view, this will change the right side of Dolphin for files/folders

Warning, as there are many settings there, take notes on what you change, or ONLY change one item at a time to see what it does.
