this is greatly appreciated here in the south of Brazil. We call it chimarrão and the herb Mate.

And it even got into my family.
Some of my in-laws' relatives emigrated to Argentina many years ago but have stayed in touch, and a (almost) daily Mate is a "must" for my mother-in-law. She treats the glasses brought by her relatives with more care than children and grandchildren....
