Authentifizierungsfenster erscheint nicht mehr

Hallo allerseits heute Morgen wollte ich in der Benutzerverwaltung das Bild meines Benutzerkontos ändern. Normalerweise erscheint, nachdem man auf Anwenden klickt, das Authentifizierungsfenster, indem man sein Password eingibt, aber es erscheint nicht mehr.
Habe am Laptop nachgeschaut, ob es da auch so ist und siehe da dasselbe Problem . Kann weder das Bild ändern noch ein neues Benutzerkonto erstellen.
Irgendwo im letzten Update vom letzten Samstag oder Freitag steckt da der Wurm drin. Wäre prima, wenn sich einer von euch das mal anschauen könnte.

This is being reported in multiple places by multiple people on Arch-based distros. What version of the accountsservice package do you have installed? pacman -Q | grep accountsservice EDIT: it seems like a bug in the latest accountsservice package. Downgrading the package and rebooting resolves the issue.

Hi, habe mit Timeshift das System vorerst in den vorherigen Zustand zurückgesetzt. Welsches Update genau es war kann ich nicht sagen, Davor (Freitag Abend) konnte ich ein zweites Benutzerkonto erstellen
Werde erstmal abwarten bis der Fehler behoben ist.

Hi, I used Timeshift to reset the system to the previous state for the time being. I can't say exactly which update it was.
before (Friday Night) that I was able to create a second user account.
Will wait for the time being until the error has been fixed.

Open /etc/pacman.conf file goto line IgnorePkg and add to what is there
accountsservice, e.g.

IgnorePkg = accountsservice

Then you can update

For sure this will be fixed "upstream".
When you will see passing by a version higher than that 22.04.62-2 it will be the right time to remove the package from IgnorePkg.
