Both default panels are gone, replaced with a single new standard taskbar style one. In the window decoration settings, the menu button is on the titlebar. Normally, the menu button would show up, at this point.


The global “appmenu” has no instances.

Yet, no programs with such a menu show it:


There’s nothing referencing any menu anything in kwinrc, and the ./config/(…)appletsrc has no phantom appmenu entry, that I can see.

This means a reboot is pending after the latest update.
Just in case…

I was off it all weekend. I just updated it as of about 3 minutes ago. No change. On the plus side, I was having a much more annoying problem, that did just magically fix itself, the touchpad not clicking under Wayland (it’s a diving board style one). So, that’s nice.
