Why is there no option to see opened apps in top bar so that we can close them. for example when i open discord and close it , it keeps running in background so it should show on top bar on right side rather than closing it from the task manager every time.
their are several extensions to do just that 1 being Tray Icons: Reloaded

Should be integrated in the distro.
Change the settings in discord by disabling "minimise to tray".
There are millions of ways to setup a *nix distro, any one of them will have millions of people claiming it should be different. A key point of *nix is that it can be customized by the user, for the user.
