Still in this application I do not have Virt-manager nor Boxes installed, but I do have virt-viewer/spice for remote login to distant VMs.

It is possible your GPU is quirkier than most.
I have tested Virtualbox with both Nvidia and AMD gpus and pointers are fine. Yes @ TBG I have swapped to an AMDGPU now. lolll
