Indeed, was a mass KDE update, I've assumed themes (and such) need to be updated to match whatever was changed in the updates, hence keeping a close eye on the forum since :slight_smile:

Oh ok, i am reassured. You look on the kde forum ?

I have just test again, that the result :

Installed

Update, and reboot

It's only mildly irritating at present, I'm sure it'll get sorted pretty quickly, whether theme update or kde.
I've looked at the changelog, but I lack the knowledge to tell which caused the effect, a couple/few seem likely :man_shrugging:

There is plenty of discussion about this elsewhere on the net. It seems that it is an Xorg problem.

Some workarounds are described, e.g., here: https://www.reddit.com/r/kde/comments/qqi9z8/updated_kde_and_suddenly_everything_is_huge/

I have marked the solution.

@fcinq
Please, stop posting unnecessary screenshots of your desktop, completely pointless and not wanted are images of terminal texts. These are to be posted like the output of inxi -Faz.

Hey all, updating your system should now apply the fix automatically.
